I am investigating the responses of the egg parasitoid, T. pretiosum Riley, to HIPVs (Herbivore induced plant volatiles) and OIPVs (Oviposition induced plant volatiles) released by Brassicahost plants in response to insect feeding and oviposition, respectively.

 

I will also investigate the response to host plants in which defense responses are induced by the application on chemical elicitors in order to better understand these important insect-plant relationships and how they might be manipulated for improved pest management.
